Mr. Chin currently is Director cum Head of Business Development of Harveston Financial Advisory Sdn Bhd and Harveston Wealth Management Sdn Bhd. He is also holding Financial Adviser Representative licensed by Bank Negara and Capital Market Service Representative licensed by Securities Commission.
An accountant by profession, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 1998. Mr. Chin has subsequently obtained the prestigious professional qualifications in financial planning; Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 2002 and continues his professional development by obtaining Shariah Registered Financial Planner in 2012. He is also an Associate Estate Planning Practitioner.
Before embarking on the financial planning industry more than for 18 years, Mr. Chin was pursuing his career in several multinational companies as management accountant. His has vast experience in the area of management accounting and management reporting in the business nature of engineering & manufacturing.
In the financial services industry, he is providing financial advice to personal, family and business in the areas of risk management, investment management, estate planning and business advisory. In his SME business owner client, he specialized in financial advisory such as key management program, employee retirement & retention program, business continuation planning as well as SME business owner’s family wealth planning.
